Barfield Building, Downtown Amarillo
JSE is honored to be a member of the team renovating this historic building in Downtown Amarillo as part of the Amarillo Downtown Redevelopment projects. We provided on and offsite parking lot layout, grading, drainage and private utility design, TxDOT permitting, and public sanitary sewer extension design.


Pinnacle Intermediate School
JSE provided Construction Plan Design, including preparation of bid documents for the construction plan set in coordination with City of Amarillo and CISD. JSE also provided Site Plan Design, to include SWP3, and Building Permit Design, to include preparation of Final Plans for building permit set for parking, sidewalk construction, and curb and gutter including paving sections, coordinate plans, dimensions and associated details.

Joseph W. Shehan, P.E., Ext. 226

Joe formed a Professional Corporation on January 1, 2010, to provide engineering services. Joe is licensed as a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas since 1994, No. 79788. Joe has 36 years of experience in civil engineering work for developers, commercial, institutional, and municipal clients. He has established overall plans for development and assisted clients in working the plans to completion over several years, indicating the foresight and coordination capabilities of getting work accomplished successfully. Joe has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University, 1989. Joe is currently the Small Business Representative member of the Canadian Upper-Red Regional Flood Planning Group through Senate Bill 8 under the Texas Water Development Board. Joe serves on the WTAMU Engineering Board. Joe has also been a City Commissioner in Canyon, Texas and was on the Board of Directors of the Potter Randall Appraisal District.
